I might go down to seattle and just walk around and see whats up as I am against this war. Wont see me holding any signs but might as well go down there and support the fact we shouldnt be there but more importantly support the troops and make it known they need to come home.

Anyone ever gone to a protest?

my friend, niether is my observational experience limited to my campus nor is my opinion of people who regurgitate information based on ignorance focused on liberals only this phenomina is unfortunately wide spread.. i only wished to dispell the progress in "progressivism" its only relative to what is blasted over the P.A. that the masses bleet. to shine in a positive connotation to thier peers..

but that is not the point that i wanted to stress. im not nessecarily arguing that there is not economic factors involved. i know that and that is a very very wrong thing..but i also know that war in itself is a horrible thing. so many people's lives shattered because of it. but im asking you what is important to you? at what point to you say that time to stop an atrocity?Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends-is the actual verse. and i believe this is true..

yes precisely why we helped to stop the massacre in darfur ..

there is no economical gain for the govnmt in helping these people so there is no real effort to stop this

sudan under bush
rawanda under clinton

and i hate this more than anything.. but realize its not specific parties presidents kings whatever its a process of the govt. i hate war but i understand it. wars are a part of economics they hurt ppl but to fight to help someone is noble. haliburton bush cheaney some of the soldiers newspapereditors proffesors iraqis fighting to keep thier abused power me you no one can detract from the fact that there are soldiers there who have that in thier hearts. not only that but there are iraqis there that connect with them because of that on a level that you and i may never know. we really have no direct part in this act. we are merely spectators critics.. but the predominant function we have is to choose merely not sides but what we take away from it.. what knowledge we gain.. what is the most important.
