Simple and general question.......what is a limited slip diff, what does it do, and who has it??

But what it does is distribute power evenly to both left and right wheels. You may think this already happens, but nay nay. Power goes to one wheel first, then the other. This is why you get torque steer.
It also helps in cornering, because in a normal transmission, the inner wheel moves less than the outter wheel. With LSD, they both move the same, so cornering is made easier. -------------------- |
