During my emissions test, they found a check engine error P0105 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometeric Pressure Circut Malfunction.
I dont know how long this has been around, since i have been ignoring my CEL since i did my trans swap. (The transmission shift solenoids are no longer connected) Anyway, my car runs just fine and always has. Do you guys suspect its just a bad sensor? A wiring problem? Or something much more involved? (I tried searching since i remember someone having a similar problem, but MAP is a three letter search) -------------------- Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it... |

I have the same problem 'code105'. $280 from the dealer for a MAP sensor is too much so I went to junk yard and picked up five of those from different toyotas(including Celica). They all fit but every single one worked for a week and then died giving me the same code.
Go rigure out. I need BG book to test this problem. |
