so I was driving my car and went to get up on it so I punched the gas and my rpm's shot up to 4500 and stayed their until my speed caught up with the rpm's so I put it in a higher gear and the car should have had a problem picking up speed and the rpms should have stayed low but they shot back up to 4500 when I gave it gas not sure what the problem please help...with ideas

yea its your clutch mine is doing it too
![]() its cause we don't make enough power to push our wheels so the clutch keeps slipping ![]() ![]() ![]() so what i'm doing is just a normal clutch set from advanced auto with a machined flywheel to lighten up the rotating mass... that should be enough |
