ive searched this term and i know how to change the led's fairly easily. what im still in the dark about is the backlight. i want the knobs, etc to be blue. how do i do this without painting because im afraid that will make it too dim? i read i need 5mm LED's with 220 ohm resistors, but i dont know where to put them.

i want to do the same thing (and i agree about painting them)...if i find out anything i'll let you know. tell me what you find out.
