what kind of screws did u guys use to screw in ur kits if you installed yourself?? thanks!!

I used stainless steel sheet metal screws. They look good and don't rust, and are designed to go into metal. The head of the screw is also nice because it tapers inward, like an upside down triangle. If you countersink (make the hole wide at the top and narrow at the bottom) the holes you drill for the screws, then the screws will be flush with the kit and not be noticable which is very nice.
As far as rivots go... eh, I've seen em on kits before and I don't recommend using them. It's very easy to apply to much pressure when you put them on and crack the kit.
