I have the stock blinker relay and a 6x blinker relay. I want to wire it with a switch between the two relays so that I can switch back to stock speed if I find myself getting tailed. Has anyone done this?

I've never changed the blinker relay, but as an electrician, I know you just can replace the charging resistor that feeds the capacitor which fires the relay to a variable resistor so you can adjust the blinking speed depending on the setting. Again, i've never seen a car's blinker relay setup, but I know the basic concept and unless the capacitor/relay/resistor is an all in one device, you should be able to customize the blinker speed with a simple resistor swap to a variable controlled one.
