Hey guys, i was just wondering what tires you would recommend for all season driving- I need new tires because of the sh** winter were supposed to have on the east coast, so im buying new rims while im at it
![]() Ive heard lots of good comments about the Kumho Ecsta Supras, and others, but could i get away with using a tire like the Ecsta Supra in the snow?? Any advice/reccomendations would be appreciated, particularly from people who have bought performance tires and use them in snowy weather. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |

I would say with winter upon us...
Put snow or intermediate tyres on your standard rims; Save your money up, and come the Spring - Buy new rims and performance tyres. That way, winter comes you put on your orginal wheels with the snow tyres and have any worries. Come Spring you swap over to your new rims and performance tyres. This way every winter your covered and you don't wreck your new rims with salt and grime during winter. That's what I do...and I live in the French Aples. |
