 ST's, how fast? |

How fast are stock 97 st's with 5 speeds, if you're a pretty good shifter. I've got 97 manual st all stock and I dont really know if I'd get my ass kicked by everybody in a race or not, I'm a pretty good shifter, but I'm not sure how it compares to other cars (what it could beat).

When I'm gunning it,
 I shift high as well, around 5000/6000.  This is in order to keep the revs up around 3500 rpm. (Don't know about anyone else but I notice a slight powerband around 3500). |
