Does anyone know of any turbos or s/c that are actually carb certified? I know Burien and Rippmods aren't, and since I'm new to the boosting concept I'm not sure if I'm missing something obvious. I figure if I'm going to spend the money I may as well get something that won't get me hassled for the smog checks in CA. I did a search and someone mentioned Jackson superchargers. Anyone know of anything else? Thanks!

So even if it's not hooked up, I guess they don't want to see it in the visual... There's no easy way here...

california is a tricky place. best way to do it in san diego for guys with tubos is to just remove the turbo and put it back to stock. leave the intercooler and lines where they are. when it comes time for a test just tell them your car is a show car and the intercooler and gauges are just there for show ![]() its worked so far for a few guys |
