going custom isn't always cheaper... and it's definitly not better. we all have decent cars that deserve to have decent parts on it.. i say go the extra mile to find something that will be worth it in the end smile.gif

How can you say going custom is definitly not better? Custom can be a lot better considering the options. Even the greddy isn't a cat-back, it's a haff-back. Cat-back would be almost the intire exhaust for us. Going custom you can run the pipes were every you want, use different size pipe, and you can match a muffler to your tastes. There is no exhaust on the market that goes under the rear suspension for the celica, this is the straited and most performance oriented solution. Also, greddy has resinators which quite the car down a bit, but also cut performance minerly. I could run side exit if I got custom, you can do anything running custom. Custom will almost always be better.

Only times custom isn't better, is for more common cars. The more common they are the more time and money go into the research. Poeple who do exhausts for a living definately know more than I do about how to opimize power for each aplication. But they're always going to cost a lot more.
