I was looking at the Eibach Sportlines because I jsut want to lower my car to be flush with the 17" wheels I'm buying, my friend advised me that getting only springs is a bad idea... is this true? What will happen if I only install lowering springs and nothing else?

QUOTE(Hanyo @ Apr 1, 2005 - 1:43 AM) no problems.. but expect your shocks to die faster and a rougher ride. what he said.. If you donmt replace the shocks, not only are you stil going to be riding on old warn shocks, but there going to have a lot more compresion ont hem and give out very quick. not a smart idea. when you replace the springs, replace the shocks as well, it might take an extra 20 min and $200. Id say go for somthing good yet cheap. like kyb-gr-2's. I have those an sportlines and the ride is great and all of it only ran me $400. You might wanna replace some bushigs ans such.. i didnt do that but will prolly go back and do it soon, seing as how i have 142k on everything else. |
