So I'm fitting my 404 sides, and one side I got to fit but the drivers side is being crappy. Anyone have any tips to get this to fit? The problem is, is there is about a 1/2" gap all the way down the side where it is supposed to go into the door sill. The other side I fit it the same way and had no problems getting it to fit.
Also do you guys recommend, putting the kit on the car first then painting it or fitting it, have it painted then putting it on the car? |

QUOTE(Rjb23 @ Apr 1, 2005 - 12:48 PM) Share these ideas! Yea I was using a heat gun until it shorted out and caught fire lol! Did your sides seem like they were a little to short? Like say about a 1/4" or so? the side I have fitted seemed like it was but the the side that doesnt fit seems like it is just barely long enough. once you try it out, could you post pics?! I know it's asking a lot but i think a lot of people, including myself, would really appreciate it ![]() -------------------- ![]() |
