In my never-ending quest to install the perfect alarm system, I've recently purchased extra sensors, a backup battery, even more sirens, one of those LED scanner things, and lots more, and now I'm just about ready to install the stuff. I've just got a couple questions.
1. I have an Autopage RS-650 alarm, and I want to run two LEDs instead of one(one LED in the top rear of each door.) I have two 2 or 3 volt(can't remember specifically) LEDs, and would wire them in series, but I'm wondering, has anyone wired extra LEDs to the LED output of their Autopage alarm? I know DEI brains can typically handle up to 5 LEDs. 2. The alarm brain is going under my seat, under my carpet, in a fabricated metal enclosure that will bolt into the car and be next to impossible for a theif to access. My four-wire Autopage antenna, unfortunately, will not reach the top of the dash from this location. Can I cut the harness and solder in wires to extend the antenna wiring, or will that cause problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

I can't see you having any problems if you use wires of equal gauge/quality and do a good job soldering.
