Alrighty, i ordered one A8000T audiobahn amplifier and AW1206T subwoofer from IKesound.com it's a 800W RMS amp @ 2 OHMS, and the sub is 1100 W RMS, which i can wire at 2 OHMS. I am planning on buying a Q-Logic or some sort of box to mount the sub in. Here's some pics of the sub and amp biggrin.gif user posted image

I think im gonna get a professional to install it, since my parentals dont want me drilling into my firewall, and what not with the power for the amp. But i want some direction on where to mount the box, and amp, keeping in mind cooling for the amp (black plastic/interior, in mississippi) but also for use of the hatch, I also want to know angles for the sub to project into a hatch, and what not... any hints*tips*etc.... it'll all be greatly appreciated-THNX-BTW it's a 95 ST. I'm not really intereseted in SPL but more SQ, and I mostly listen to rock (incubus, blink 182, jimmy eat world etc...) but the occasional rap comes out ocassionally. biggrin.gif bowdown.gif

You dont need to drill into your firewall. On the passenger side closer to the front windsheild there is a rubber boot, and you can run your power wire through that and it comes out behind your glove box. from there you can run it under your door sills; the large peice next to where your feet go just unscrews off, and the sills pop off. If it fits, you could mount your amp under the front seat. The drivers side has alot more room underneath it then the passenger side, so i would try the drivers side first. As for the box, it will probably sounds better facing the rear, and maybe at a slight upward angle. Youre more into sound quality though? If so, you bought the wrong kind of equipment.
