well, the curse made its way to me, I was just getting out of an underground parking lot, a car zoomed passed me i slam my brakes and my car slid straight into a wall
 , air bags popped too... the stupid thing was, wen i got out of the car i noticed oil on the ground cuz my car slid without screeching, right now im talking to the insurance, the stupid mechanic said its a write off but it was an exuse to probably keep the car for himself...... sucks to be me right now....

Sorry to hear about the car.
If you get us some pics, we can probably give you an idea of whether your mechanic is BSing you or not. When the air bags deploy, however, usually cars, especially our aging Celicas, are considered totalled. But if you think your mechanic is just saying that, you can always buy the car back from insurance for cheap and part it out, or fix it if you're inclined, or whatever. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
