I'm trying to change crossmembers in my Celi, but now I'm horribly stuck after trying to get the crossmember out for a good couple hours.

I got the bolts out of the front and rear mounts, and loosened up everything on the crossmember. In the attempt to get the rear tranny mount to move up so that the bolts on it would clear the crossmember, the mount got twisted sideways and is now completely stuck. I tried everything, but nothing seems to work to get it loose. frown.gif

Here's some pics:

Anyone got any ideas? By the way, if my new crossmember and mounts don't bolt up, I think I'm gonna torch the Yelli Celi. I absolutely HATE the mechanical aspect of working on cars.

how are you gonna get the new mount back in?

The new mount will not be broken and twisted sideways, so it'll go straight up into the bracket so I can put the bolt in, then I can slide the crossmember in and lower the tranny and bolt it all to the horizontal crossmember. smile.gif

Yep, it was the only way I could get it out without removing the horizontal crossmember or power steering rack since it had twisted diagonally.
