I've got a couple questions.

1. Can someone with a manual ST take some pictures of their front tranny mount? I'm interested in seeing how the bracket that the mount bolts to compares to my automatic AT200 bracket and my manual AE101 bracket(which are very different from each other and both don't fit.) frown.gif

2. I can't get the rear motor mount back in, because the top of it hits the steering rack since my tranny is jacked up a bit. Lowering the horizontal crossmember won't help, since the steering rack is bolted to that. Lowering the tranny won't help, since it won't give me the clearance necessary to get the front-to-back crossmember in. And the rear bracket bolts are impossible to access from the top(intake manifold is in the way), and there's not enough room from the bottom(horizontal crossmember is in the way.) Am I going to have to get an engine hoist and pull the engine up a bit once I disconnect the final mount, then move it around and bolt the mount on, then lower it down?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to get my car back together. Thanks.

What front motor mount are you talking about? The one on the lower cross member or the drivers side mount near the battery? If you are talking about the crossmember one they are the same. The only one that differs between the manual and the auto is the drivers side mount near the battery.

On number 2 I dont remember exactly how we got it back in, we had the same problem with it hitting the stearing rack. I think we dissasembled the motor mount and then it slid in and then bolted it back together. By disassembled I mean the round rubber part you take that bolt out and then put it in.
