In Chicago, gas just spiked 20 cents. The cheapest I've seen is $2.45 for reg, $2.55 for super (which is what I put in my car) and $2.65 for premium. And usually, I drive 15 minutes to Indiana and pay 20 cents less, but now it's only 3 cents cheaper. It's not even worth burning the gas to drive there anymore. On top of that, I drive a truck for a living and the price of diesel is $2.65 which makes it almost impossible to make any money so all the employees at my company are going on strike on Monday so that we can get paid more for delivering loads. This is crazy!!! It's only the beginning of spring and prices are getting higher. What's going to happen by mid-summer? I heard in Cali they are already paying close to $3.50.

QUOTE Uhmm anyone ever hear of china? They are the reason everything is going up in cost. They buy so much crap now that it is raising the market prices. Stuff like concrete, building supplies, gas, cars, everything, its not bushes fault. Wait till the next president gets elected then he will get blamed for everything. Don't you people go to college? I read in USA today Today that the prices will continue to rise b/c china is starting to develop a lot more and will need more oil for everything. THis is not good for any country b/c we are running out of oil and if the biggest populated country starts to use 10x what they used to, oil will run out very very quick |
