Celica Coupe Supra-Style Wing Made To Fit Hatch!?, IT WORKED, PICS POSTED... Options

ok so heres the story, went on ebay, saw a supra style wing, said it was for the 94-99 hatchback celica and said it was an erebuni, more specifically...

well nooooo it wasnt... it was a wings west spoiler for a 94 celica COUPE... well i bought it for $140 shipped and i love the way it looks... so heres whats happenin... my cousin owns an autobody shop, me him and a guy who works with him are gonna shave it a little and give it some fiberglass and we are gonna make it fit my hatchback! wish me luck, i will have pics like tomorrow or saturday to see how the operation went btw does anybody think this will work?

heres what happens, when you try to put it over the hatch it goes a little too far over the edges, about a half inch on each side of the hatch itself... if you slide it up about an inch or 2 it looks great, fits right to the edge, but doesnt attach that way, it is too flat in comparison to the arch the hatch has... so im grinding the edge and doin a little fiberglass to keep its integrity since its hollow inside, and the grinding away at the base will go close to the screws, plus i wanna make it a perfect fit, i will take some pics of the spoiler before and after its on, and ill have some pics of what ive been doin to my car up by tomorrow...
