while installing my indiglo gauges, i carefully took the cluster out. When taking out the needles, after everyone saying dont pop the needles out, i had to go ahead and do it. I tried to be carefull but the black blastic cover on my mph gauge wouldnt come off. So i ended up accidentally pulling the whole needle off as i watched the thing inside wind down all the way. I then tried to rewind it but it isnt working. Now im sitting here with no gauge cluster and an mph gauge that doesnt move...Can somebody please help me...

you could connect it, and leave the plastic guard off. Take the needle and place it partially on (dont push it all the way down) so while your moving. When the needle goes back down to 0 it will press against the other needle going up and make it close to where it suppose to be (within 4 mph).
Let me know if I need to restate that lol, i'm sleepy. PS only works w/ speedometer and if the magnet/needle is broken wont work period. This post has been edited by chucho: Apr 9, 2005 - 8:40 PM |
