I have a question for all you electricians out there... What is the easiest way for someone to wire up daytime running lights? What needs to happen is when the knob is in the "off" position, the highbeams need to come on at 1/2 intensity. When the knob is turned to parking lights or "on" the highs shut off completely (unless of course the lever is pushed forward to have the high beams on). Thanks in advance for any suggestions...

There's a quick diagram of how you'd wire this up.

The only part I'm unsure of is where there's the big green question mark. I believe that you'd use some sort of resistor, but the resistor I tried didn't work for when I attempted to do similar to this. Up in Canada they probably have more information on how to add DRL systems to cars...you could probably find the correct resistor at a junkyard.
