So I'm building a CAI but I haven't quite finished it (too lazy) so its just a Short Ram right now. It exits right in front of the stock airbox's cold air tube, and I got to thinking. What if I made a sealed box around the filter so that the stock airbox tube would create airpressure inside it, thereby creating a ram-air effect. Definetly feasable, but effective? I don't know. Would it be worth the effort or should I stick to a traditional CAI setup.

hey you should check out this months import tuner, theres a thing about stock airbox VS shortram VS CAI...IMO i think you'll prolly be better off with the CAI, but hey, i guess the only real way to find out would be to try it and see!!
