I have started my performance modifications to the 3sgte. Here is a picture of the first in a series of upgrades over the next several weeks. Anyone know what it is?

Steve: fuel pressure is currently set at 43psi. With the new turbo comes lots of other goodies like injectors, rail, and EMS. Its a big jump but why not? Fun ain't free....
Manny: I think the Speed Factor turbos would be awsome if they work well. I am a little concerned about not having an external gate when you are pushing that much air but they claim the internal gate is 38mm and works as well as a tial 38 mm unit. I am not sure whether 38mm internal = 38 mm external in terms of performance though. If I don't go with the Speed Factor turbo, I am also going to redo my intercooler piping. I am going to run the piping from the intake manifold to the passenger side of the intercooler and then clock the turbo down and run the hot side right down to the drivers side of the intercooler without the silly loop which is necessary for the CT-26. P.S. where are our skirts? -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |
