Decideing against engine swapping a 3SGTE into my 96 Celica ST or just selling it and buying a 3,000$ 1st gen 6bolt Talon TSi AWD.
What would the best bang for the buck be? I just want to do 13's and I'll be happy. Also, on a scale of 1 - 10, how difficult is the engine swap from someone that doesnt know much about engines in general? I really dont know what to do for my next car. This 110 horsepower isnt cutting it anymore. |

Bang for buck is easily the talon. With the 6bolt ur pretty much good to go. But I would get a new clutch for it. Preferably a 2400. Also check the compression before you buy get it to make sure its equal all across.
Oh ya if ur going to get a new exhaust. The N1 is easily the best way to go. If ya want to know more about the DSM hit up.. www.dsmtuner.com This post has been edited by prompt: Apr 11, 2005 - 6:06 PM |

I never post right now though, just soaking up the info for when I get mine. Also I checked the compression on a talon I was looking at, 150 across. Any good?
