When doing my 5sfte project which one can/should i get? honestly i dont think that thing is worth it economy cars run pretty easy timing. i would rather run a little richer and have the same timing, then paying all that money for the BTM, new or old version, just to have it retard timing so much and esentially kill power. when i dynoed my WRX, adding 1 degree of timing sometimes added as much as 5hp. that BTM retards it 1-3 degrees per pound of boost. if you want timing control, get a Emanage setup.you can make your own harnesses for it, i think instructions were posted on this forum. it will do fuel and timing, and then u can get the E-01 boost controller and tune it all from that screen and have good boost control cost of an SAFC and BTM gets close to a used emanage setup. me on the otherhand, i would run a Megasquirt stand alone, ~$500 for everything. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
