QUOTE(presure2 @ Apr 16, 2005 - 2:57 AM) 97 you are TOTALLY worng about that when it come to celicas. the timing maps are already agressive in N/A form. when you start messing with fuel too, the BTM is basicly a MUST have. you should really know more about it before you post, the WRX and celica are NOTHING alike...lol AT ALL the btm is adjustable from 0 to 3 degrees of retard, and only does so at a point that YOU set. urban, you dont need the msd6 thats a whole ignition unit. like in your post in buyin/sellin, you need JUST the BTM pt#5462 and the tach adapter pt #8910eis so what do the timing maps look like? i always thought they were tuned to the safe side, just like the fuel maps, kinda fits in with the whole economy engine scheme. sorry if i gave bad information, but regardless of the car, tuning is tuning Less fuel-More power-More Knock More Fuel-(less power)Less Knock More Ign. advance- more power-More Knock Less Ign. advance-less power-less knock More boost-more power-more knock less boost-less power-less knock too much timing can be remedied by adding more fuel. whats the adjustment on a BTM? i know it can retard timing up to 3 degrees per pound of boost, but i guess you're saying it can be set to start at a certain PSI? again, sorry if i gave out missinformation, but it was my opinion on it and what i thought would give better control over everything -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
