Magnaflow race series, Oval or round? Options

for my 5sfte ive decided to run a magnaflow race series 14 in. at the end of the exhaust pipping. Im unsure however as to whether a 5x8 oval or a 6in. round would preform/sound better.

Does it even matter?

Here's my opinion, if you're going to buy something like a muffler, make sure you buy it for performance, and performance only. Because of all these neon and civic drivers, big open muffler's look like s.h.i.t. It's tacky and the only way it looks good is if there's a bumper on the car that has a specific hole for the big muffler outlet
