Magnaflow race series, Oval or round? Options

for my 5sfte ive decided to run a magnaflow race series 14 in. at the end of the exhaust pipping. Im unsure however as to whether a 5x8 oval or a 6in. round would preform/sound better.

Does it even matter?

i kinda wanted an oval to run away from the ricer look and also cus ive some HKS mufflers and their ovals look cool.

All in all it doestn matter because im keeping my stock muffler tip and ending the exhaust under the car some where.

yes yes i know illegal. but im willing to take the chance. Im planing to use the 3sgte cat in the down pipe then manderal 3 inch for aobut 2 or so feet and then to the muffler. Terminating the exhaust under the car.
