Celica curse back again, back again Options

i was driving on the Van Wyck Expressway in stop and go traffic minding my own business when all of a sudden i hear screetching tires and then WHAM i go flying forward. i just got slammed from behind of some dumb***. i pull over and he pulls over in front of me. i get out to check out the damage and as i get to my rear bumper i hear the tires screetch again and hes taking off. im like what the hell? i get back in my car and start chasing him down the shoulder. i get about 4 feet from his car and see that htere are no plates on the car or in the rear window. i keep chasing him and he cuts 3 lanes and gets off an exit and i lost him in a random neighboorhood. luckily the damages isnt so bad, i think that the bumper dent can be pulled out. i was in nutral when he hit me so i just rolled with the hit (good thing i stopped before i hit the car ahead of me). it sucks that i got hit and it sucks even more that there is nothing i can do about it. any suggestions?

what car is it SkaBass1?? i'm in NYC too. i take the Van Wyck Expy everyday to work. got pics of how bad the damage is? if you can identify the car like make,model, color, call the cops.. tell them where the accident happen, where you lost him, file a report. if you decide to claim insurance call them up, but it depends if you're liability or full coverage. if you need someone to fix your bumper i can hook you up with my mechanic. they do good body work.
