How did everybody here get into mechanics, bodywork, electricals or whatever? Did u read that stuff up on the internet? or were u raised by car lovers? Just wondering and curious to know how everybody gets their knowledge of cars.

My dad has his own shop when was growing up and i would go there everything after school.. and clean up and do little thing and watch whiel he and his tech worked on cars.. then as i got older started doing little things here and there.... and i would read the repair books he had in the office and would look up things on the all data...
