Hello, I got a silver auto Celica '95 (hatchback)
I have the same buttons you mention - These also exist in my RAV4 So, the overdrive you all know what it does it's thoroughly explained in another topic. Now about manual and power. For manual: Switch it on when you're parked and shift to L. By having MANU enabled L, 2 and D act like 1,2 and 3rd gear. So you launch the car with L and push the stick to 2 when you want and again to D. It will NOT shift unless you push the stick For power: It just makes the car gruntier and all. More responsive throttle control and all that. For the sportiest possible behavior switch on ECTS-PWR and turn off your overdrive Dont forget to use the kick-down future. Pedal to the medal and it will give you quite a push P.s. forgive me for bringing life to a dead topic but I was searching for more details on these 2 modes This post has been edited by spawn: Apr 20, 2005 - 8:36 AM |
