I had just gotten finished washing and waxing my probe.
Decided to go to town and meet up with friends. Got about 4 miles from home when all of a sudden my hood pops up and slams my windshield!!! My G/F is screaming, im freaking out. I lock up the front and yank the e-brake and steer toward the side of the road almost hitting a light poll. the hood is screwed. only thing i can salvage would be the vent itself and mold it to my stock hood. i have 2 creases in my roof. I remembered when i was drying the car, i took the pins out of the hood cause it kept ripping the towel. i forgot to put them back in. im not pissed that the hood is damaged (only paid $6 for it), but i am pissed cause i spent $322 on 1 quart of paint, clear, hardner and reduser. -------------------- Jared Harwell

that happened to my friend as well. he was going over 70mph when it happened, and it was dark outside and his hood cracked his windshield so bad he couldn't see out of it. he had HUGE cracks where his washer nozzles were, and his hood was completely screwed, it broke his sunroof and the whole roof of his car... it was nuts....
