he was the pope's right hand man. Many of his believes directly reflect John Paul II's beliefs. I think we'll see many of the same steps that Paul II was taking w/ the church
anyway, I think that this pope is more of a transition pope than anything else. and there will probably not be a young pope for a while. By the the time they are promoted all the way up to Cardinal's they're already getting old. And all the old Cardinal's will not pick a young pope. I think John Paul II was the youngest pope at 59.
