 115mph 94ST top speed??, Has anyone pushed their st futher? |

When i first got my 94celi st i decided to push its limits and topped it at 115. Then i put in a custom cold air intake thats almost to the floor
 . and my friend had a performance muffler sitting around so i convinced him to let me have it and had it put on  . after that i ran it again. It ran great. But it wouldnt go over 120mph!!!  after it reaches 115 it feels like i'm down shifting. and after it goes down to about 110 and starts to go up to 120 and it starts that down shift feeling again. I checked the revs and its only at 4.5 on 5th gear. Whats wrong with my engine??? By the way i have a stock 7A-FE engine. i live in CALIFORNIA damn smog regulations... and crap gas the govt kicks in around 115 mph i am thinking of putting 17' on my car then perhaps it will go 120 at most... anyone know how to disable govoner let me know
