What are your opinions about drilling for oil in the Alaskain Wildlife Refuge? I don't know a lot about what it will actually do for us. I heard something crazy like thousands of barrells of oil a day. Personally, I find it outrageous that they would even consider it. I would much rather pay my extra 20 cents per gallon than see us drilling in a refuge. True, it will make us not dependant on international oil, but so what. That refuge is there to protect the wildlife and environment. It doesn't give people the right to drill for oil because they're mad about rising gas prices. That's just my personal opinion. I just want to know what you think about it.

I don't know much about this, but it seems to me that the raised oil prices have created a perfect opportunity to begin drilling in Alaska. who will get the contracts for this drilling and make money off it .. Pres. Bush's friends of course
and DJMC. unfortunately I think a lot of american's hold your viewpoint. they don't understand that there could be other factors outside of more oil = lower prices at the pump |
