What are your opinions about drilling for oil in the Alaskain Wildlife Refuge? I don't know a lot about what it will actually do for us. I heard something crazy like thousands of barrells of oil a day. Personally, I find it outrageous that they would even consider it. I would much rather pay my extra 20 cents per gallon than see us drilling in a refuge. True, it will make us not dependant on international oil, but so what. That refuge is there to protect the wildlife and environment. It doesn't give people the right to drill for oil because they're mad about rising gas prices. That's just my personal opinion. I just want to know what you think about it.

From research that I have seen, the oil won't be distributed to us for another 10 - 15 years, and the way that we consume oil, its supposed to last a total of 6 months at that. I disagree with drilling there.
