I am buying a '94 STX with 147,000 miles from a friend for a skinny $1800. I had my mechanic check it out and he said its in suprisingly good shape, but needs things like a full tune up, alignment, rear brakes, CV boot replacement, and a tranny flush. I plan on telling the friend Ill take it for $1600, due to the work I'll need to put into it. What do you all think?? Its really in good shape, considering its mileage. Thanks!

P.S. The girl I'm buying from doesn't realize how good of a deal she is giving me hahaha tongue.gif

Sweet... I've got the reverse situation going on. My car's been hit 3 times now, has a few dings, and a brand new personally installed 3ft graphic (adds 5 hp) on my passenger side thanks to an idiot who ran me off the road...

But anyways, he's got a beat up old civic... he offered me $4200 for my 97 ST. Other than the visual blemishes and the history the car is great. 3 different dealerships have inspected it and say it's up to standars for safety/performance/age... and I've replaced all the major parts recently... so I'm happy... just have to find a new car myself smile.gif
