i did this a few weeks ago its not to bad execpt the new seals that go where the spark plug wires are the donut looking plugs
i worte this for some asking about paint the valve cover but talks about replacing that seal step 1 remove the 4 bolts and washiers in the cover step 2 remove the 2 bolts on the far left over the cam gear then remove that plastic plate thing step3 run a blade along the edge of the valve cover to break it loose then move the wire loom thats wraped in grey tape then left the valve cover off step 4 cover the cams with a plastic bag and stick a towel on top of that so nothing get in there step 5 use brake clean to get oil and other dust off the cover step 6 sand it and cover in a powder coat that can stand heat do 3 layers step 7 once dry spray your color on make sure it also can take heat spray one layer let dry and repeat until happy step 8 replace the seals put it back on tighten all the bolts and there you go This post has been edited by nik: Apr 28, 2005 - 10:55 AM -------------------- yea your 3sgte is cool but ill stick to my 7agte
