Alright i searched through the seafoam posts. i went to napa - talked to the store salesmen about it, and he said it will do nothing on my car because its an acura and acuras dont need seafoam..
now.. personally i think this guy is a moron.. but... since im not a car god or even a car idiot - i am a car moron - i thought id ask you guys... the acura's have a freaking honda motor... my car has 196,000 miles on it and a mild oil leak - anyhow its been running *rough* if you'll follow still quick but its rough anyhow i wanted to see if it'd help my car out till this guy...
anyhow - is he right?? (im almost positive he's not and he's an absolute moron but...)
secondly - i am a moron as i said so remember =) where do i put it - i got the gas tank and the oil the one im fuzzy on is the crankcase (as i dont know where that is) and through a vacuum hose?? ?? throttle body?? i have a K&N air intake - which kicks ass btw - but where do i put this stuff?
thanks and sorry for the semi similar questions...
nobody

dude i wouldnt use seafoam if i were you. if you already have an oil leak then where its comming from is going to get worse. seafoam gets rid of the deposits left behind by oil and if you have a leak then the hole is just going to get bigger and your going to leak even worse.

plus that guy is a moron, any motor can use seafoam its not car specific. seafoam is recommended for cars with around 70-100k just to help it run better, hell i would start using it on new cars every 10k just to keep it running clean.
