Heres the story,
My A/c compressor was always on. Turns out that the clutch is stuck in the engage position. So my buddy and I made our own switch to turn the compressor on and off by splicing into the compressor wire. Anyway, after testing it, everything worked fine; including the blower. After a few minutes of running I smelled something burning up in the front of the car around the relay box area. Of course the compressor is right there too. The a/c compressor was off and my the temp was on the heat. I tell my buddy to turn the car off. I turn it back on and I have no blower. I tear it all apart and everything works (heater relay, resisto, Blower itself, climate unit). We tested for voltage and the blower doesn't seem to be getting any power. We are both clueless. I am really lost here and I am looking for anyhelp whatsoever. I don't want to take it in again. SOMEONE HELP ME!!! ![]() |

ok, I figured out that the ground wire coming from the heater relay #4 is not grounded. I imagine that it burnt up and is touching something, hence the burning smell. I just do not know where it is located
If anyone knows where the ground for the heater relay is grounded, I would be very very very appreciative. Hell I 'd even buy someone a 6 pack if they can help me out. Jeremy |
