OK, correct me if im wrong, but this is what I want to do. I dont want to buy an in-dash dvd player, I just want the 7" monitor and run my ps2 to it. From my understanding the power for it should just be like anything else, a ground and a positive (since its for cars im assuming its 12 volts) other than mounting is there anything else I would need to hook up? And do they usaully have RCA jacks or mini (1/8th jacks)? Im not really worried about my ps2 hooking up, I already have a converter for that. Anywho, basically my question is for those of you that want to do exactly what im doing is... how did you hook up the tv.
Thanks alot guys for any help provided. -------------------- To live, is to suffer

I did the same for my mate, its dead easy. Put the tv in the dash, hook the +12v (usually yellow) to power, hook the ignition wire (usually red) to a wire that only has power then the ignition is on - there will be one going into your deck. Then black to ground.
PS2 should hook in using an rca connection, audio rca's from the ps2 go straight to your deck. |
