Ok I have 2 options, I talked to some guys at XATracing in FL, first off they are great ppl and very knowledgable.

My first option is to take my clip and car to them and have them do my swap, for $2300. This includes all labor and I everything would be done right, and I won't have to worry about the headache of getting it running right and tuned.

My second option is to send them my harnesses and have them do my harness for $500 to $600 which from talking to them will I know will turn out good. And then swap everything in myself. What do you guys think? I'm very mechanically inclined but the only thing I'm worried about is the wiring and fuse boxes and stuff, its really the only thing I'm fuzzy about.

What do you guys think who have the swap?

I was under the impression that all you need for engine mounts if you have a ST is the 5s motor mounts. Is this not true?

Well I plan on renting a storage space to do it, and I have alot of tools.

Hey lagos do you need any fuse boxes from the 3s? I haven't been able to find any solid info on this.

you cant use public storage for car work. i know cause i tried, lol.

for the motor mounts, you need the gt mouns, and have to custom drill a few holes on the passengers side mount. thats the only tircky part.

for the wiring, you need to take 1/2 of your stock fuse box off along with you stock harness. then take the 3s harness and rewire into that stock fuse box. then add in the fuel pump relay form the 3s box, rewire the ecu, and interrior plugs.

it sounds easy, but its really a pain in the ass. so just send it out to them so that its all plug and play for you.
