Is it really that hard to change your fuel filter??? My mechanic said you have to like almost remove the engine to get to it cause its buried in there. I really wanna do this myself to save the 90 dollars in labor costs... Where exactly is the fuel filter, and is it easy to get to?

just FYI..
my parents old car was a toyota cresida.. The fuel filter was mounted on the rear engine mount.. to change it, you need to either scrap up your hands to and fuel all over your face to remove it. OR you can take out the engine to change it. That was why my mechanic changed the fuel filter for free when they rebuilt the motor.. |
