well, i really need a camcorder and i don't know what to get. can you guys suggest a couple brands that are good? reason being is that my son is on his way into the world and i want to capture every moment that i can. im looking to prabably spend bout 5-6 hunderd dollars when its all said and done. oh yeah i might be looking for a dvd burnner also so i can put all the videos i take on dvd so any input on that would be nice also. well thanks for looking and any help is apreciated!!

i think that the Sony DVs have the most options, but some of the canons are cheaper. i guess that this knowedge is right from Best Buy since i work there, but that is my opinion.

[right][snapback]281834[/snapback][/right] ive been in this market for a while and for portability, convenience, and price I'd have to go with the dual purpose pocket recorders, these things are about the size of a cell phone or ipod, but allow you to take still images 5.1mp or higher while also shooting dvd quality dvd on a memory cards. you can get the Sanyo Xacti C5 on ebay from hong kong (not sold in the US) which in my opinion is the best pocket recorder out there for about $450 the same price as a decent camcorder |
