My mistake I forgot the Altezza was RWD, let's just figure out transmission options for the 3S.

So, if I wanted to go with a 3s is say a early 80's Corrola, this would be the transmition of choice?

i guess you could swap the altezza engine and tranny, making a fwd/awd 3s into a rwd one would require a lot of misc little parts. then you could turbo the altezza 3s.

Could it handle the extra power though.

i would guess that the altezza auto tranny would be able to handle a mildly modded 3sgte, but, there is no 3sgte ECU that will be able to control the altezza tranny

auto and 3sgte only came together in the new caldina GT4, and the caldina gt4 tranny is not the same as the altezza one.
