I've noticed that when I slow down sometimes that I hear this knocking coming from what I think is the back of my car. It only happens when I use the brakes. I think it started after I changed the brake pads. Is there a possibility that the pads are knocking for some reason? I checked them out and they seem to fit right. I jacked up the car and tried to find something loose under the back that would be knocking. I couldn't find anything. My trunk is completely empty and still does this, so it's not something in there. Any help or advice would be apreciated. Thanks.

Do you have springs or coilovers? I see you have a rear strut bar, is that possibly loose?
My coilovers will bind on occasion, and make a knocking sort of sound. Are you sure its the back? One side or both? Have you stood outside or had someone else stand outside and do it? (I dont really know anything ![]() -------------------- If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.
