 Annoying sound from manifold |

From the day I had my 94 Celica GT (been 2 years now) i heard an
annoying sound from the manifold (well, from the engine bay but I suspect the manifold-cc-downpipe). I can hardly describe the sound - more like a whistle and a vibration. I have the 5sfe 2.2 L and it has 145 000 Km (approx 85k miles) and im considering removing the manifold (wich is connected directly to the catalytic converter) and putting a header instead... if you want a header for the celica gt, try and find a camry that has the 2.2 , you might get lucky cause some of the camrys have headers
