my front brakes are starting to squeak at 66k miles. how long do they last and what are some pads with decent braking power while also having minimal brake dust. my rims will be here soon, and my brakes are squeaking, so i thought this is the time for pads with low amounts of dust. what would you recommend and what would be the price for 2 pads? how much are normal brake pads?

yea i agree with J. ceramic pads are definitely the way to go. ill be ordering the EBC red stuff ceramic brake pads soon. ill tell you how they feel when i get them.

[right][snapback]282823[/snapback][/right] JDOG - If are going to go with EBC, go with green stuff. Red stuff are made for the track application and do not do well until they are very warm. Cold braking sucks. The green stuff are very good for street / performance. They are actually metalic and not ceramic which is good for wear and dust. The only problem with metalic is that they are known to be loud at times.
