 Buying Aftermarket Reciever, Do i need this? |

If i have a cd player only (stock) with the little bin/door right under it, i thought i didn't need a instalation kit. Just the wire plugs. So why does this place that i'm probably going to buy from tell me i need it when i put my car data into it?

since you have the bin w/the door you will only need a wiring harness. The new HU can be installed directly into the existing housing without an installation kit.
check this thread for a complete how-to for installing a HU in a 6G (download the pdf document) it's relativly easy to install in these cars. -------------------- |
